Flamurtari and Tirana shared the points in a hard-fought match at the "Flamurtari" stadium, which ended in a 1-1 draw after a dramatic end and a controversial penalty in extra time.
The match started at a high pace, as the blue-and-whites took the lead in the 3rd minute. After a precise assist from Mehmeti, Tabeku found himself free and scored for 0-1, giving the capital's team the lead.
Tirana continued to be threatening after that, with Myslovic trying from distance in the 16th minute, but goalkeeper Aleksovski reacted decisively, preventing a second goal.
In the 27th minute, the game became tense after a wrong tackle by Cortes, leading to a clash between players on the field.
The first half ended with Tirana's minimal advantage, while in the second, Flamurtari increased the pressure in search of an equalizer. In the 66th minute, goalkeeper Visar Bekaj successfully intervened to preserve his team's advantage.
In the 71st minute, Flamurtari requested a penalty for a contact in the area against Maksut, but referee Lata decided to allow the game to continue, causing protests from the locals.
However, the decisive episode came in the extra minutes. In the 90+3 minute, Tirana caused a penalty that was considered strange, from which Maksuti scored for 1-1, restoring the balance.
A few minutes later, at 90+10, the referee signaled the end of the match, sealing the final score at 1-1.
This result has made the race for survival even more intense, with the team from Vlorë closing the table with 25 points, 2 less than Vora in 9th place, while Tirana is in eighth place with 28 points. Bylis is also in troubled waters with 30 points.
