These victories in the September international window enabled the Rossoneri to halt their decline and regain a place in the standings, now climbing to 67th position, after once again surpassing Georgia.
Meanwhile, what stands out about the new FIFA rankings after the September matches is the new position of the Kosovo national team, which has set another record in its gradual rise in recent years. Thanks to the success with Sweden, Kosovo now holds the 91st place in FIFA and is gradually approaching the most famous teams on the continent, while only 24 positions separate it from Albania in this classification.
