Turkey's talented midfielder Arda Güler has reacted harshly to himself and his team after their disappointing World Cup elimination, publicly apologizing for the team's poor performances.
The Turkish star did not hide his disappointment after the end of Turkey's adventure in the biggest football tournament, as he admitted that the team was not up to expectations.
"We feel ashamed and apologize to our entire nation. We play for very big clubs and this should be reflected on the field. In two matches we failed to score a single goal," Güler declared.
