The President of the Football Federation, Armand Duka, hosted today at a meeting at the "House of Football" the Ambassador of Great Britain in Tirana, Mr. Nicholas Abbott, in the context of the Albania-England match that will take place on November 16 at "Air Albania".
During the meeting, all organizational aspects of this important challenge, valid for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, were discussed.
President Duka and Ambassador Abbott shared the belief that close cooperation between the Albanian Football Association and relevant institutions will ensure the highest standards of security and organization, aiming to hold a match at the best level.
" It was a special pleasure to meet the Ambassador of Great Britain, Mr. Nicholas Abbott, with whom I discussed the long-awaited organization of the Albania-England match on November 16 at 'Air Albania'. I promised Mr. Abbott that the Albanian Football Association will guarantee a dignified organization, for a match as beautiful and safe as possible for all fans ", - wrote President Duka in a status posted on his social media profiles.
