Dinamo Belgrade recorded a very important victory in the Conference League today, as they won their first away match against Atlético D'Escaldes of Andorra. The Blues triumphed 2-1 in a match where they secured the victory thanks to a second-half turnover.
This is the second time in the history of the capital's team that it has managed to win in Europe on the opposing field. The first time was in the Champions League, back in 2002, when the Albanian champion team played against the Lithuanian team FBK Kaunas.
At that time, Dinamo won 3-2 on the opposing field, but with a reversal, after being two goals down. Ahmataj, Pisha and Qorri sealed the Blues' reversal in the second half, which proved decisive for advancing to the second round of the tournament. That was the last time Dinamo advanced to the round in an international competition.
