
January 10, 1942, 82 years ago today, the colossus of the Albanian scene was born. Robert Ndrenika, the man of over 30 roles in films, Agushi in (Lady from the Village) Sokrati in (Brothers and friends), Stefi in (In our house) Vangjeli in (Tale from the Past), Prefect (in "Concert in 1936 ") and who knows how many roles in the theater.
The actor, very beloved by all generations, always brings weighty and current messages with his roles. Everyone loves and admires its simplicity. Everyone appreciates him for his behavior in real life, but also for the characters he already belongs to. No one forgets his jokes in theater or movies, two worlds that Ndrenika never separated.
Robert Ndrenika has two daughters. He had a rather beautiful love story with his wife, Polixenes. He admired his wife. But she also admired her husband and always accompanied him to rehearsals. Unfortunately, Poliksen fell ill and died, and Robert Ndrenika suffered a lot from the departure of his wife. So much so that for four years he did not set foot in the theater again.
But in April 2012, he won over the suffering and returned strongly to the theater with the role of Dr. Shuster.
He was honored by the president of that time, Bamir Topi, with the title "Honour of the Nation" (in 2012).
In 2014, he enters the world of a capricious character through the premiere "Djemte gazmore", part written by the American writer Neil Simon.
In 2015, he was named Actor of the Year and while receiving the award, the audience stood up and gave him a long standing ovation in his honor and respect.
Robert Ndrenika, "People's Artist" received the annual award from the "Kult" Academy of Art and Culture.
Robert Ndrenika represents not only the honor and pride of the nation but the extraordinary story of a great man who made history through the simplicity of his greatness.
