The famous Argentine footballer, Mauro Icardi, has emerged victorious in an important legal process against his ex-wife, Wanda Nara , one of the most popular showbiz figures in Argentina and his former career manager.
The court in Milan has rejected Wanda Nara's request for alimony worth 250,000 euros per month, assessing that she has considerable income and assets, which exceed those of the footballer himself.
According to the documents reviewed in the process, the court has found that the legal conditions for granting alimony do not exist, as Nara is financially independent and professionally active.
"After analyzing Wanda's financial situation, the court decided that Mauro Icardi is not obligated to pay alimony, as she has a significant income and great wealth ," said the footballer's lawyer, Lara Piro.
The decision also includes the equal sharing of child-rearing expenses, considering that both parties have strong economic capacity.
Foreign media report that Wanda Nara had requested that the case be reviewed under Argentine law, but her request was rejected by the court.
In justifying the decision, the judge emphasized that Nara is of active working age, has consolidated professional skills and generates sufficient income, precluding the need for financial support from her ex-husband.
Meanwhile, it was emphasized for Icardi that his income depends on sports contracts and his career as a professional footballer, while his future after the end of his contract with Galatasaray still remains unclear.
The decision is considered an important development in the legal battle between the former couple, which is expected to continue in other processes in Argentina.
