Celine Dion has reacted to the Trump campaign after her hit song, "My Heart Will Go On", was played at a recent rally in Montana, foreign media reported.
The campaign was not authorized to use its 1997 hit, which is forever associated with James Cameron's 1997 romantic film Titanic.
"Today, Celine Dion's management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc., became aware of the unauthorized use of the video, recording, musical performance and image of Celine Dion singing 'My Heart Will Go On.' at the Trump/JD Vance campaign in Montana. In no way is this use authorized, and Celine Dion does not approve of this or any similar use," reads a statement published on the artist's Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Dion's opposition comes less than a month after her return with a performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics Meanwhile, well-known artists such as Rihanna, Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne, Queen etc., have previously opposed Donald Trump's presidential campaigns to use their music.
