Famous rapper, Sean Diddy Combs, spent Thanksgiving behind bars at FCI Fort Dix, New Jersey, where he is serving a sentence of 4 years and 2 months for human trafficking for sexual exploitation.
Us Weekly reports that the former hip-hop mogul was "generous" to about 1,000 inmates, teaming up with the group Bankroll Bosses to fund a festive meal. They bought extra food from the prison cafeteria and distributed it to other inmates.
Through his representative, Combs said that for him, "Thanksgiving is about making sure others have something to eat," adding that "many people suffer during the holidays and miss their families."
Meanwhile, this gesture comes at a time when his name continues to be rumored for serious allegations of sexual abuse and violence. A 2016 video, recently resurfaced, shows Combs following his former partner Cassie Ventura to a California hotel and violently pushing her to the floor.
The footage has sparked strong public reactions, adding to the pressure on the artist, who is already facing a series of lawsuits and other allegations of violent behavior.
