Jessica Alba and her husband, Cash Warren, have reportedly split. TMZ reports that the couple is approaching a divorce after 16 years of marriage.
Alba, 43, and Warren, 45, first met in Vancouver in 2004 on the set of the superhero movie Fantastic Four. The actress played the role of Sue Storm, while Warren was the assistant director. They married on May 19, 2008, and have three children together: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7.
The couple appeared together to celebrate their son Hayes' 7th birthday in early January. In an enigmatic message on New Year's Eve, Alba wrote that her year 2024 was "full of connection, growth, adventure, laughter, peace, sisterhood, transformation, rebirth, joy and lots of love."
In September 2021, The Honest Company founder spoke to PEOPLE magazine about building her business empire, parenthood and marriage to Warren. She said that at the time the two tried to separate their individual needs to prioritize their relationship.
"At different times, there were different things we needed. Around the time I had kids, it was like, 'I need [a romantic evening] once a week.' And he was like, 'I need you to be there on the weekends and not work,'" she said, explaining that they often "overcommunicated what was going on before things got to the point of no return."
