Albërije Hadërgjonaj, like rarely before, has confessed the betrayal of her ex-husband, with whom she separated years ago.
During an interview, she showed that she loved her ex-partner very much, but the latter never returned her.
"I loved my ex-husband more than anything in life. When you grow up you realize that you are not given the same coin. It didn't come back to me, sometimes even big words are not true."
Albërija confessed, among other things, that her ex-partner had betrayed her in prison, even though the singer had tried to keep their relationship alive, in its most difficult period.
"I don't know how to personify that guy. He is a very good man but with me he was not the same as I was with him. The boredom in prison cut my arms, because it was very tiring as an experience, I was tired, I had gained 40 kilos after him. And there comes a moment when you understand such disrespect and it is done by a man that you are giving your life for," she said
On the other hand, the singer implied that she has not regretted the care she showed towards him, stating that she fulfilled her duty as a wife at that time.
"I did my duty, as I was taught by my mother, I was there for him, in the most difficult years of his life, with the biggest challenge we all had as a family, but it still didn't work," said Albërija in "Inspire PodClass".
