Hayek said that over the years, as her weight fluctuated during pregnancy and now in menopause, people have speculated that she had plastic surgery. The 54-year-old actress has confessed the reason for the enlargement of her breasts and the truth is far from the rumours.
Hayek says pregnancy and menopause have caused her breasts to grow too large, and their growth has caused her severe back pain. Among other things, the 54-year-old spoke openly about the menopause symptoms she is experiencing. Hayek also emphasized that aging is not a problem and spoke out against the idea that women are less valuable after reaching menopause.
"For some women they become smaller. But there are some women that when they gain weight, their breasts grow, and when you go through menopause, they grow back. And I am one of those women that this happened to! There are no due dates for women. You can hold your own at any age, you can dream at any age, you can be romantic at any age. We have the right to be loved for who we are in the country where we are. We're not just here to make babies. We are not alone to take care of the man. We are not alone in serving everything and everyone around us. It's a misconception that has existed for centuries."
