An unusual case is making the rounds on the Internet on the eve of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where a resold ticket for the match between Portugal and Colombia in Miami is reported to have reached the staggering figure of $11 million.
The news was made public by ESPN journalist Roberto Rojas, causing numerous reactions on social networks, where users described the price as absurd and unprecedented for a sporting event.
Meanwhile, with the qualification of the last six teams, the groups for the 2026 World Cup have now been completed. This edition will be historic, as for the first time 48 national teams will participate, divided into 12 groups of four teams each.
The tournament will take place in three countries – the USA, Canada and Mexico – and will kick off on June 11, promising spectacle and high rivalry at every stage.
