A major scandal has erupted in Britain after the discovery of a case involving a 23-year-old prison guard, who is accused of having sex with prisoners and introducing drugs into the institution, according to what was made public at Southwark Crown Court in London.
Former prison officer Isabel Dale is alleged to have had sex with prisoner Shahid Sharif in the prayer room of Coldingley Prison in Surrey, while two other prisoners served as "guards".
According to the prosecution, the incident occurred on July 19, 2022, when Dale and Sharif stayed in the room for about four minutes, before she left the room, looking at the camera while adjusting her belt.
The Daily Mail newspaper writes that Dale had started working at the prison in September 2021 and, according to the indictment, had an intimate relationship with Sharif for more than a year: from the fall of 2021 to the end of 2022.
