Voting centers have opened on time throughout the territory of Kosovo and, according to reports so far, the election process is taking place peacefully and without incidents.
Pristina, Gjakova, Peja, Podujevo, Suhareka, Mitrovica, Ferizaj, Gjilan, Skenderaj and Prizren reported that the process was proceeding smoothly and that polling stations were functioning normally.
However, a low turnout was observed in most polling stations during the early morning hours. In Prizren, short delays of up to 13 minutes were recorded in the opening of some polling stations. Meanwhile, in Ferizaj, a complaint was reported from a citizen who stated that his illiterate wife was unable to vote with assistance.
Apart from these isolated cases, polling center managers in various parts of the country have confirmed that the process is proceeding normally and without significant problems.
