Pristina Police have seized a firearm and narcotics during a routine search of a BMW vehicle with Swiss license plates.
The incident occurred at around 23:45, on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" street, when police stopped the vehicle for a routine check during patrol.
During the body search of suspect Shkëlqim Rexhepi, 0.9 grams of suspected cocaine-type narcotic substance was found in his pants pocket.
Meanwhile, during a search of the vehicle's trunk, the police also found a firearm, which Yll Sadiku stated belonged to him.
The prosecutor on duty has been notified regarding the case, who has instructed to file charges of "Unauthorized possession of narcotics, psychotropic or analogous substances" and "Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons".
After police procedures, Shkëlqim Rexhepi was released in a regular procedure, while Yll Sadiku was detained for 48 hours.
