New details have been made public regarding the serious incident in Majac, Podujevo, where three people lost their lives, while the full circumstances remain unclear.
Journalist Vullnet Krasniqi, during the show "Kosova Today", stated that according to information, the victim Ilaz Brahimi may have been pressured into marriage.
"No one can convince me that after two meetings someone is rejected and such an act occurs. According to the messages I have received, Ardita Gashi has tried to keep her in his hands," he said.
He added that, according to these unofficial sources, Brahimi was part of the diaspora and had come to Kosovo to meet and get married.
"We discussed a very important detail, that they have been pressured to get married. Here we are also dealing with a form of patriarchy that weighs heavily on men," Krasniqi declared.
Also, according to family members, the 45-year-old was expected to return to Germany on Monday, but this did not happen due to the tragedy.
Ardita Gashi shot and killed her brother-in-law Ilaz Brahimi and 73-year-old Miradije Gashi, before losing her life after shooting herself.
