A gunshot incident was recorded this Monday evening in Pristina, resulting in one person being injured.
The incident occurred at around 21:00 on "B" street, while the injured person turned out to be an investigator at the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK). The news was confirmed by the spokesperson for the Pristina region Police, Flora Ahmeti.
According to preliminary information, it is suspected that the incident is not related to his official duties. The injured man was immediately transported to the hospital, where his life is out of danger.
The police have launched investigations to fully uncover the circumstances of the incident, while the suspected perpetrator has been identified and is wanted.
"Around 21:00 we received information about gunshots on 'B' street in Pristina. Police units immediately went to the scene, where it was reported that one person was injured. The injured person, (male), was sent for medical treatment. Currently, the police have launched an investigation to clarify the case while they are searching for the suspect who has already been identified ," announced the spokesperson for the Pristina region, Flora Ahmeti.
