The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has condemned the anti-Albanian chants by Macedonians in Kumanovo. Berisha called such behavior barbaric, primitive and racist towards Albanians.
He further emphasized that the DP supports the position of the Albanian political forces and the Macedonian authorities who condemn this gesture. "The Democratic Party condemns with the greatest force the barbaric primitive anti-Albanian calls in Kumanovo as evidence of racism and primitive nationalism against the Albanian ethnicity for centuries and millennia in its lands, but also against the very constitutional order of the Republic of North Macedonia. The Democratic Party, by condemning with the greatest force these acts, appreciates and supports the position of the Albanian political forces and the state authorities of North Macedonia towards them," said Berisha.
