In a meeting with the current members of parliament and those expected to be sworn in in September, Socialist leader Edi Rama outlined what will happen in the coming weeks.
He stated that "we need to organize several large working meetings, one or two days in Tirana and outside Tirana with key interest groups for the success of the fourth mandate, where we should sit down very carefully and try to understand as much as possible in order to understand as much as possible how much and where and how we should correct ourselves with the protagonists of the world of technological innovation, with farmers and agro-processors, with representatives in manufacturing enterprises and so on. Under the leadership of political leaders, we should immediately start preparing action maps for the development of the regions towards Albania 2030, and we should immediately start working in parallel for the upcoming local elections."
A day after Socialist leader Edi Rama revealed the need to do things differently at the level of party leadership, parliamentary group and government, he wasted no time in organizing an informal meeting of the governing cabinet.
Sources from Top Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu suggest that the meeting could take place on May 30th in a city in the south of the country.
The same sources previously indicated that the meeting will focus on analyzing issues related to the past elections, even though the Socialist Party won 83 seats.
As if they will pass through Rama's scanner, the performance of the current governing cabinet.
An important part of the meeting will be dedicated to the new parliament, from where Rama will gather opinions on the leadership structure of parliamentary committees led by socialist legislators.
As has happened after every parliamentary election, if Rama continues the tradition, a meeting of the socialist national assembly is expected to be held in the last two weeks of August.
This is believed to be the moment when the socialist leader can announce the Rama 4 governing cabinet, and get ready to receive a vote of confidence from the new parliament, which convenes on September 8. /Top Channel/
