Sali Berisha should resign from the Democratic Party after losing the elections, respecting the party's statute and, along with him, Flamur Noka and the ruling caste.
This was stated on the 'Studio Live' show on Report TV by Alesia Balliu, who was included in the Democratic Party primaries in the Elbasan District, but was removed from the list of candidates for MPs of this party.
She said that she will also decide on her candidacy to run for party leader, as new elections need to be held in the DP after the defeat on May 11.
She described the DP as the party of "serial losers and failed elders."
"What message is the DP sending with the request for a recount of votes in Tirana and Fier? I am of the opinion that if there were violations, they should be arrested by SPAK, always if there are. These people are accusing each other of vote theft within the DP. I stand by my statements as a new name. As a candidate, I request the opening of the party. I cannot leave the DP in the hands of some failed elders. People with contributions were left out to include Roshi on the list. The time of these elders is over, the party must open, there must be competition. It is so impossible that the DP does not have new, real leadership, a right that is not sold out", said Balliu.
She called the leaders of the Democratic Party, led by Berisha, serial losers and incapable of winning the elections since 2013, where they have recorded 10 consecutive failures.
"They are incapable of accepting defeat and reality and analyzing the elections. They only have 45 MPs, and 5 have allies. These are against the competition and the statute, they are against everything, they were prepared to lose, so they also brought in Roshi. The truth about these is that they are serial losers and failures. From 2013 to now, there have been 10 elections. Berisha is happy, he won the legacy of being the second party in the country. Berisha must resign, the statute says so. The DP itself certified its defeat. The article has it written, he must resign. I see there that there is no initiative and alternative. There must be elections, the right must be formed, not to go from defeat to defeat. Those who do not want Berisha to leave, want Rama in power", emphasized Balliu.
She expressed her readiness to run for the DP, but not to repeat the farce of the primaries as a 'crutch'. The primaries candidate in Elbasan emphasized that Aulon Kalasa's votes in Durrës were also stolen so that the Berisha family's favorite man could become an MP, because that was the order.
"I am ready to join any race that brings development and against a race that is a farce, as I tried once with the Primaries. If it is for hope towards Albanians I will be there, if it is for a crutch of the failed elders, I cannot be part of that facade and the next defeat. There are many critical voices, even from currently elected deputies, who blame the current DP leadership for the failure. To respect the statute that says that the president who loses the elections resigns. But those voices should not become a crutch for Berisha and the failed elders there. Even Aulon's votes were stolen within the party in Durres because he was the favorite of the Berisha family, former prosecutor Arjan Ndoja.
