Prime Minister Edi Rama has reminded that July 31 is the deadline for vacating unjustly occupied public spaces, especially along national highways. The head of government warned once again that after this date there will be penalties for all those who do not respect the obligation.
" July 31 is the deadline for the voluntary vacating of spaces by entities located near national axes, which have become a risk to road safety. Penalties for all those who refuse to relocate ," Rama said.
The same call was repeated by the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, also Deputy Prime Minister, Belinda Balluku, during the inspection of the Kamëz-Laç road axis. " This is a deep reform, extending from tents, parking lots, to the national axes from north to south. There will be penalties for those who commit violations and we ask for the cooperation of citizens, since many indications come precisely from them ," declared Balluku.
The government has announced this action as part of a reform to increase road safety and improve public infrastructure, while the penalties after the July 31 deadline are expected to affect dozens of entities across the country.
