The Complaints and Sanctions Commission has rejected Adriatik Lapaj's complaint to win the mandate.
Rapporteur Ilir Rusmali dismissed the appeal and upheld the CEC's decision.
KAS removed the mandate from Lapaj's cousin, Kleana Xhuveli, and passed it to Ana Dajko.
She was ranked first on the closed coalition list in Tirana. In this way, the KAS decided to partially reject the appeal of the Albania Becomes Movement, which requested that the mandate be passed to Adriatik Lapaj.
60-year-old Ana Dajko is the mother of Vasil Dajko, a member of the leadership of the "Albania Becomes Movement", and also turns out to be Lapaj's cousin. She has completed secondary education, while she is self-employed.
The rapporteur of the case was Elvis Çefa.
Representatives of "Albania Becomes" demanded recognition of the resignations on May 11, while KAS member Ilir Rusmaili asked them if they call this disloyalty, since the resignations were made after the voting process.
Debate at the meeting:
Rusmajli: The fact that they all unanimously chose to resign on May 11, is not a kind of disloyalty from the electorate in your assessment? People voted for this list of candidates. And the resignation on May 11 did not happen before the voting began, it did not happen with a public statement by the subject, 'don't vote for us because we don't want you to vote for us'. It happened after the process had begun and the voters did not have the opportunity to make this distinction.

Rusmajli: Whose lawyer are you?
Representative of "Albania Becomes": I am a representative of "Albania Becomes". It is not disloyalty and there is no reason for it to be. Each of those candidates who has decided to withdraw from the race, it is their personal will and has nothing to do with our disloyalty.
The CEC decided that the mandate in the coalition of the Albania Initiative should be taken by Kleana Xhuveli. The candidate of the closed list Kleana Xhuveli, ranked fourth, revoked her resignation and asked to take the mandate.
In his request, Lapaj claims that the mandate belongs to the open list, recalling that the candidates on the closed list resigned from their candidacy on May 11. He requests that the revocations from the resignation of candidates from the closed list, including Kleana Xhuveli, not be accepted.
