
MP Mesila Doda has reacted to the decision to continue her parliamentary journey as an independent, clarifying that she represents the PDIU and the opposition, but is not part of any new configuration of parliamentary groups.
" I am an opposition MP and PDIU. I have not been consulted on the configurations of the groups that have been created. I will continue to support the causes of the Opposition and PDIU. There is no joint opposition group like there was in the elections, where it would be normal for us all to be part of ," Doda told "Top Channel".
Doda was part of the closed list of the Democrats in the Tirana district, but according to the pact with Shpëtim Idrizi's PDIU. In the upcoming sessions, she will exercise her function as an independent MP, outside the other opposition groups that have been created in the Assembly.
