Socialist Party MP Erion Braçe said that the announcement by the United States Embassy should be handled with institutional caution and not become a source of public panic.
During his speech, he emphasized that such issues belong to discussions in parliamentary committees and must be managed responsibly, noting the impact they can have on important economic sectors such as tourism.
"These are issues that are discussed in parliamentary committees, consumed there and with attention to not causing panic over economic revenues. Tourism is a branch of the economy that develops only with trust and for months there has been a huge effort to hit it, enough of that!", said Brace.
He added that there has long been an attempt to damage trust in this sector, demanding that the debates not negatively impact the country's economy.
Next, Braçe brought to attention another issue, that of the interpellation requested in February with the Minister of Agriculture, who was not present at the session due to an engagement in Kosovo.
"The issue I raised has to do with food. The Minister of Agriculture must be here and answer to the Assembly. This instrument cannot be relativized and removed from the agenda as a minister demands. A minister cannot make my agenda. It cannot happen again. It took me 6 weeks to get information, now it takes me 6 weeks to talk to the minister," said Brace.
