The Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS) has partially accepted the Democratic Party's complaint regarding the election results in the Kukës region, approving only two of the five requests submitted.
According to the decision, the KAS legitimized the seizure as evidence of the postal operator's documents for the distribution and return of ballots from abroad, as well as the audit reports on the voter registration process abroad. These elements are considered significant in the investigation of possible diaspora vote manipulation.
Meanwhile, the other three requests – for the Electronic Identification Device data cross-reference report, the minutes of the closing of voting centers, and the list of special voters – were rejected by the KAS as unfounded.
The complaint for Kukës will be reviewed again on Friday at 10:00. Meanwhile, the KAS has also received requests for electoral invalidity for the regions of Berat, Korçë, Gjirokastër, Shkodër and Vlorë, while complaints from other areas are expected to come.
