Two decades ago, in the 2004 - 2005 theater season, at the National Theater based in the City of National Theaters and Institutions, the profit from ticket revenue was 9,000,000 lek. The fund for projects was 18,000,000 lek.
There were monthly salaries for 72 people, a bonus for creating an artistic image, a bonus for being active every night on stage, a bonus for the rehearsal period for external actors, a bonus for support sector employees after each new premiere, a bonus of 40 hours per month for working overtime, a bonus for March 8, a bonus at the end of the year, a bonus for children going to school, in first grade, or the first year of high school, a bonus for creating new families, and a special bonus for each birth.

That season, 8 premieres were performed and 5 others inherited from the repertoire of the previous season. That season, 140 performances were given by the National Theatre alone, not counting other troupes. 20 performances were given on tour in Kosovo and Macedonia. The number of spectators reached 34,000, up from 4,300 in the 2001-2002 season.
The number of directors, set designers, costume designers and actors reached 106 (the troupe had only 32 internal staff). All the legends of the stage and over 40 young people were brought back to the stage. 18 actors were paid more than the Chief Servant of the TK, 12 actors were paid more than a deputy.
