Berisha: Rama will not be overthrown by internationals, a popular movement by Albanians is needed

Democratic leader Sali Berisha has declared that the May 11 elections were an electoral farce, as warned by international resolutions.

Berisha said that Rama is not leaving because of internationals, but because of a popular movement among Albanians.

"Edi Rama fled from Albanians, he did not flee from internationals. Dictators are only overthrown from within, only by popular movements, they are not overthrown by vote," said the leader of the DP on the "Log." show on News24.

Among other things, he also spoke about the campaign, saying that it was the most professional and dedicated of his life.

"I have worked on this campaign in the most professional and dedicated way of my life. I have never done a campaign like this. I have presented in this campaign the absolute program of my life. I have taken on the world's leading expert, Chris LaCivita, in this campaign, I have done everything I had to do to be totally dedicated with the full awareness that with Edi Rama there is no choice," said the former Prime Minister.
