The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has spoken about the upcoming elections within the political force he leads. Asked on the show "Opinion" if he will run for re-election as leader of the Democratic Party, Berisha said that he has no intention of withdrawing.
Blendi Fevziu: Will you run again in the next elections?
Sali Berisha: There is no retreat from Sali Berisha in the face of a farce. We are in a farce.
Blendi Fevziu : So, will you run again?
Sali Berisha: I will absolutely run again.
Blendi Fevziu: Don't you think it's time for a younger representative to run and you can remain as supervisor, as honorary chairman?
Sali Berisha: Parties don't function with a supervisor. A party doesn't function with a supervisor, it functions with a leader.
Blendi Fevziu: So, you will run in the next elections for another term?
Sali Berisha: Yes, without a doubt. Of course, with the entire membership.
