
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has spoken about the early elections expected to be held in the Municipality of Tirana.
Berisha said that the DP will not boycott the elections and stressed that as long as Edi Rama is prime minister, there will be no free elections.
" With Edi Rama there are no elections, we will not boycott them. We will enter the elections ," Berisha said on the "Opinion" show.
There was also a response to the party leader's proposal for the possibility that the opposition would have a common candidate.
" We will do everything to cooperate with all opposition parties ," Berisha said.
Asked about Ilir Alimehmeti, Berisha said that he is one of the candidates who meets all the conditions to run in the Tirana elections.
