Balliu reveals the behind-the-scenes of the fight in the Parliament: Rama

DP MP Klevis Balliu has stated that Prime Minister Edi Rama provoked the opposition by introducing Diella into Parliament.

Balliu said that this was done in violation of the constitution with the aim of avoiding debate with the opposition.

"Everything the government does is aimed at avoiding debate with the opposition, because there is nothing to say about debate. For years, no televised debate has been seen between the opposition and the government. Today, in an unprecedented act, Rama introduces a provocation in violation of the Constitution, the law and the rules of procedure by introducing a robot with a pre-prepared speech, violating the rules of parliament ," the MP emphasized.

According to him, this is a mockery of citizens and brought the opposition's reaction, at a time when more developed countries than ours do not have a robot minister. Balliu emphasizes that this is intended to avoid public debate.

" At this moment the easiest thing for the opposition is to shut up and let Rama do whatever he wants with the parliament. If the constitution is violated by a robot then what is the point of the parliament and our mandates. To mock the citizens in this way to avoid that there is no program for Albanians. There is a program there for gangs to launder money in corrupt affairs. Rama mocks and says listen to the robot that will be held responsible for those thefts how will we arrest it. We are a country that does not have water and electricity, or medicines without security. The whole world is far ahead of us with artificial intelligence and there is no minister only in Albania these madnesses happen because we are led by a madman who seeks to avoid public debate" - declared Balliu.

Balliu added that Rama violated the parliamentarism that previous generations fought for, while the provocation with Diella did not allow him to speak about the real problems of citizens.

" A double-edged blow to parliamentarianism, not having parliamentarianism in a country where 50 years ago you were shot. Generations before us have fought for a parliament here. This one wants to eliminate us from parliament by making us robots. I wanted to talk about how Astir is without a school, Kashari should be a municipality. I wanted to talk about crime, about the violence of the Xhabaftaji, Suel Çela, about schools that have more knives than books and this fraudster who wants to introduce other genders into schools. In this situation, we need it more than ever to defend the values of parliamentarianism ," Balliu continued.
