Teksa kanë mbetur edhe dy orë nga mbyllja e qendrave të votimit për zgjedhjet lokale në Kosovë, kryeministri i Kosovës Albin Kurti ka bërë thirrje qytetarëve që të dalin dhe të votojnë.
Kurti tha se sot është dita më e rëndësishme e demokracisë, për t’i dhënë drejtim të mirë komunave dhe të ardhmes së përbashkët.
“Qytetarë të Republikës, kanë mbetur më pak se dy orë nga e drejta jonë për të vendosur për të ardhmen e komunave.
Në çdo qytet, në çdo fshat e në çdo lagje, gjithandej nëpër komuna, thirrni familjarët, miqtë dhe të afërmit që të dalim sa më shumë për të votuar. Ta shfrytëzojmë këtë ditë të rëndësishme të demokracisë për t’i dhënë drejtim të mirë komunave tona dhe të ardhmes sonë të përbashkët.

The Central Election Commission of Kosovo has announced that as of 5:00 PM, voter turnout in the local elections has reached 32.30%.
According to data published by the CEC, the municipality with the highest turnout so far is Mamusha, where 64.61% of registered citizens voted.
Meanwhile, the lowest turnout was recorded in Skenderaj, with only 23.61% of voters having participated in the electoral process so far.
The voting process continues without interruption in all municipalities of Kosovo, while the ballot boxes are expected to close in the evening hours, according to the scheduled schedule.
LDK spokesperson and MP, Besian Mustafa, thanked all citizens of Kosovo who exercised their right to vote.
Regarding the process, he stressed that based on the figures, the process so far has been orderly and democratic. He called on citizens who have the right to vote to head to the ballot boxes before 7:00 PM.
"I also take this opportunity to invite all citizens of Kosovo who have not yet voted to do so as soon as possible, especially before 7:00 PM, when the polling stations close. I cannot speak about the results now, except for a few minor cases, we have no information about major irregularities."
"The citizens of Kosovo have shown a high, democratic and constitutional awareness by participating in these elections in enviable numbers, but also by following a genuine electoral process. I invite them to go before the 7:00 pm deadline," said Besian Mustafa.
Ambasadori i Bashkimit Evropian, Aivo Orav, ka qëndruar në qendra votimi në Mitrovicë të Veriut dhe në Prishtinë për të parë nga afër procesin zgjedhor.

Komisioni Qendror i Zgjedhjeve (KQZ), në konferencën e radhës ka bërë të ditur se pjesëmarrja e qytetarëve në procesin e votimit deri në orën 15:00 është 25,21%.
Kryetari i KQZ-së, Kreshnik Radoniqi tha se procesi po zhvillohet në mënyrë të qetë dhe pa incidente.

Three suspected cases of vote-taking are being handled by the Kosovo Police in coordination with the Prosecution Office in the Pristina region.
This was confirmed to RTK by the Police spokesperson for the Pristina region, Flora Ahemti, who said that they have received three pieces of information: one case in Podujeva, one in Drenas and one in Pristina.
"So far in the Pristina region we have received three pieces of information. One in Podujeva, one in Drenas and one in Pristina, where it is suspected that ballots were photographed. The information is being handled in coordination with the prosecution," said Ahmeti.
Photographing a vote is a criminal offense, according to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
Serbian president attacks Albanians after Albania's football victory and demands the restoration of Serbian control in municipalities in northern Kosovo.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated today that "Albanians are very nervous" due to the higher turnout of Serbs in the elections in Serb-majority municipalities in Kosovo, where local elections are being held today.
"In all Serbian areas, by 10 am, the turnout was higher than in Albanian areas," Vučić told reporters in Belgrade.
“I hope that the Serbian List wins and that some of the power can return to our hands,” he added.
According to him, Albanians, from Tirana, Pristina to Presheva and Bujanovac, are "exalted" by last night's victory of the Albanian national team over Serbia in a football match in Leskovac.
