In the show "Profile" on Euronews Albania, Zef Çoba comes with a story that takes us back in time to Shkodër, exactly where his love for art and music started.
" I had a moment in fact that left a strong imprint on my psyche and consciousness. In 1990 I toured Switzerland. Before the political changes, we toured for a month. At that time, 60,000 Kosovar Albanians lived in Switzerland, and my impressions from these contacts were extraordinary. Two years later, I was asked to compose a song by the well-known Cuban singer Fejza. I was ready!
The song was composed in a few hours with lyrics and music. I woke up the poet and by 5 am the song was completely finished. When Skurta came tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock, he asked how we are going to do the song, I had finished the song. So it's a bolt of lightning, an inspiration, that found me full and here there is no quote,. they are all original ", said Çoba.
