This morning I took some time to meet my father, the poet Skënder Rusi. We laughed a little together, and then I hurried away, as is life, our illusion. I didn't hug him, I was going back to lunch again.
Now my father has closed his eyes, I kiss him and caress his hair, he looks so calm and good. But in my mind, I am struck by his verses, which he had for himself, he had for me, he had for every reader.

Up there in the sky,

The sky above awaits each of us,
