New details have emerged regarding the serious incident that occurred yesterday evening in the village of Agonas, Kavaja, where Muhamet Rreshka, 76, lost his life as a result of a conflict between two brothers.
According to the police report, the two brothers Muhamet Rreshka, 76 years old, and Eqerem Rreshka, 74 years old, were in the field collecting fodder for their livestock, when a conflict allegedly broke out between them.
According to reports, the victim had gone to pick up sheaves of hay with a tractor in the field, where after loading them, on his way back he met his older brother, citizen Muhamet Rreshka, the perpetrator of the murder.
Sources indicate that the 76-year-old had told his brother not to cross that road, while the latter had pushed him with a tractor.
After the verbal conflict, the 74-year-old man pulled out a knife and stabbed his brother 3-4 times. Meanwhile, sources say that the perpetrator expressed remorse after the incident. It is also learned that the 76-year-old man was the village headman.
The incident occurred around 8:30 PM in the village of Agonas.
After the conflict, the injured man was immediately transported for medical assistance, but due to his injuries, he could not survive and died in hospital.
