A serious incident was recorded in the area known as “Kthesa e Kamza”, where three people in collaboration with each other have exerted violence against a vendor of a business (tabachino) and have robbed him of an amount of 100,000 new lek. Thanks to the quick reaction of the Tirana Police, one of the perpetrators has been arrested, while two others are wanted.
As part of the police operation codenamed "Reaction", Crime Investigation specialists at Police Station No. 6 have made it possible to identify and arrest citizen MA, 33 years old, who during the moment of his arrest on "Sabaudin Gabrani" street, violently opposed the Police officers.
Meanwhile, his associates, EH, 35, and GL, 34, are wanted, who are suspected of being part of the plan to violently rob the business owner. According to the Police, the perpetrators physically assaulted the victim to take the money.
Investigations are ongoing to verify whether these citizens are involved in other thefts with the same modus operandi. The materials for this incident have been forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for the criminal offense of "Theft by force" committed in collaboration.
