Details of the condition of 50-year-old Thimjo Rubati have been revealed. The victim of the gun attack that occurred on Friday evening in Saranda is out of danger, after being transported for specialized treatment to the Ioannina hospital.
Sources near the hospital say that three gunshot wounds were found on Rubati's body, two near the liver and one in the pelvis. According to the same sources, the bullets did not hit any vital organs.
After receiving first aid at the Saranda hospital, where he was administered two units of blood, the 50-year-old was sent to Greece for specialized treatment. Thanks to the intervention of doctors, his condition has stabilized and he is out of danger.
Meanwhile, the investigation into the assassination continues. At dawn, the investigative team returned to the scene of the incident, where they are conducting further examinations and seizing footage from security cameras in a wide area.
In parallel, investigators are questioning several people who may have knowledge of the circumstances of the incident, while work continues to identify the perpetrators and fully unravel the assassination.
