
A 39-year-old man who was declared an international wanted man has been extradited from Italy to our country.
According to the police, the arrested person, Emri Hysenaj, has been assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" by the GJKKO for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group.
The 39-year-old is accused of trafficking narcotics from Albania to European countries during 2021, on behalf of the criminal group to which he belonged.
"Another member of criminal groups implicated in drug trafficking from Albania to Europe is extradited from Italy.
As a result of very close cooperation between specialists from the Interpol Directorate, with counterparts from Interpol Rome, the procedure for the extradition from Italy to Albania of the internationally wanted Albanian citizen, EH, 39 years old, was finalized.
In April 2025, the Criminal Court of Kosovo assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group.
