Two people internationally wanted for various criminal offenses have been extradited from Greece and France.
According to the police, those extradited are Viktor Daci and Paul Deda.
46-year-old Viktor Daci was arrested in Greece after being ordered to be held in prison for attempted premeditated murder and illegal possession of weapons. Paul Deda was arrested in France after being wanted for drug trafficking and money laundering.
"Interpol Tirana/2 citizens declared internationally wanted are extradited from Greece and France.
Following the close cooperation of Interpol Tirana specialists with their counterparts in Athens and Paris, during these phases of the "The Wanted" operation, the procedures for the extradition to Albania of the following citizens were finalized:
-VD, 46 years old, who was arrested in Greece after the Mat Judicial District Court, in 2015, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder", remaining in the attempted stage, and "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition";
-PD, 50 years old, who was arrested in France, after the Criminal Court of Kosovo (CJKKO) assigned the 50-year-old the security measure "Arrest in prison", for drug trafficking and money laundering, committed within the framework of a criminal organization , " the police announced.
