
Vlora Police have revealed details from yesterday's brawl on the Kasamili coast, where a group of four people, including two Turks, clashed with a resident of the area, leaving the latter injured.
The police announce that a 26-year-old Turkish man with the initials HB, a temporary resident of Pristina, Kosovo, has been arrested as the perpetrator of punching and hitting 54-year-old AM, a resident of Ksamil, in the body and head.
The incident occurred yesterday evening at around 9:45 PM, while the three companions of the handcuffed Turk, one of his compatriots and two others, Albanians, were also taken under investigation.
The injured man himself will also be under investigation in hospital for causing injuries to other people during the conflict.
"Turkish citizen HD, 26 years old, temporarily residing in Pristina, was arrested after on June 6, at around 9:15 PM, during a conflict for weak motives, he punched citizen AM, 54 years old, resident of Ksamil, who suffered a head injury and is currently in the Tirana Trauma Hospital, under the care of doctors. Criminal proceedings were also initiated against the other citizens involved in the conflict, BM, 50 years old, Sh. M., 42 years old, the injured citizen AM, as well as the Turkish citizen AB, 26 years old ," the police said.
The circumstances, dynamics and causes remain unclear, as the parties are providing their testimonies. It is initially suspected that the two parties initially argued over a parking space with a resident of the area and then escalated into a physical fight.
