Andrew Bode, suspected of being the executioner of businessman Edmond Papa, entered into a fraternal pact 3 weeks before committing the crime, in revenge for the murder of Aleksandër Sadikaj, known as Sanço.

"The defendants are close social ties to Adriatik Kalemi and citizen Aleksandër Sadikaj, who was killed on June 1, 2022 near TEG. The social ties between these persons are proven, among other things, through the expert report of the mobile phone of the defendant Albano Velo. A video dated November 27, 2022 was discovered on the mobile phone, which shows the defendant Andrew Bode, Andrea Adriatik Kalemi and Artur Kalemi, who drink each other's blood in a brotherly manner ," the prosecution emphasizes.
3 weeks after this event, on the evening of December 16, 2022, Edmond Papa was murdered on the veranda of a bar in Kodra e Diellit, near the house of his brother Kristo Qirici.
The prosecution also highlights another video discovered on Velo's cell phone dated November 13, 2022, where the defendant Andreu Bode and Adriatik Kalemi are holding an object that appears to be a firearm. The suspicions are that Bode and Velo acted on behalf of Adriatik Kalemi, with whom they had constant contact and strong social ties. On the day of the incident, it turns out that they frequented the places where he does business. The prosecution says that Bode and Velo watched the victim for days, even when he had lunch, as well as when he traveled from Lushnja to Fier and vice versa.
To hide his tracks, Bode used rented cars, while Velo used the same vehicle with changed license plates. According to the prosecution, after the arrest, Velo tried to hide his acquaintance with Bode, but was betrayed by his phone, as during the examination of it, numerous photos of the two and a photo of businessman Edmond Papa were found.
The Sadikaj-Kalemi-Papa revenge saga began after the brutal execution with explosives of Aleksandër Sadikaj near TEG on June 11, 2022. In December, Edmond Papa was executed in revenge. Adriatik Kalemi survived an assassination attempt in Greece, while his brother Zamiri survived another assassination attempt in Tirana. In the summer of 2024, Shyqyri Kalemi, 70, the father of the Adriatik and Zamir Kalemi brothers, was killed in an assassination attempt in Memaliaj. The victims also included the bar's waiter Gledian Muka and the customer Marsel Çela, who had no connection to the clash between the parties.
