A letter of request has been sent to the Polish authorities, requesting detailed verification of the priest, Deacon Jacek Roman Bogacz, who has appeared in the file of the SPAK Special Prosecutor's Office, regarding a financial transfer of 680 thousand euros.
The letter of request consists of 7 main points, where the Albanian Prosecutor's Office authorities request mutual assistance from the Polish justice system, with the aim of carrying out several investigative actions to put the priest, Father Deacon Jacek Roman Bogacz, under the "scanner".
According to journalist "Elton Qyno", the request to extend the investigation to Poland comes at a time when, according to one of the arrested, Lefter Nelaj, the amount of 680 thousand euros came from charities in Italy and was given to him by a Polish priest, with the intention of bringing it to the city of Lezha, to the "Calatrava" association.
But according to SPAK, the statements of the arrested Lefter Nelaj result in open contradiction with the evidence and facts administered within the framework of this criminal proceeding.
His denial of knowledge about the persons, Ergys Kastrati, Igli Kamberi or Bardhok Gjergji, the itinerary or purpose of the transport, is refuted by telephone records, communications extracted from the seized phones, as well as by the documented dynamics of movements in Italy.
These contradictions cannot be considered as random inaccuracies, but constitute clear indications of his attempt to hide his real role and to avoid the criminal liability of the owners of the seized monetary amount.
However, despite this, a letter of request has already been sent to Poland, requesting verifications in 7 directions of the priest, Father Deacon Jacek Roman Bogacz.
The Albanian prosecution, in point no. 1 of the letter of request, requests information from the Polish authorities on whether the Parish of the Holy Spirit of the Old Catholic Rite Church is registered in the register of churches and other institutions.
This parish is located at “Słowackiego” Street 12 A, 78-300, Świnoujście, Zachodniopomorskie Prefecture, Poland, with the parish priest, deacon Jacek Roman Bogacz, as parish priest.
Also, in point no. 2, information is requested as to whether the Parish of the Holy Spirit of the Old Catholic Rite Church has movable property, immovable property, bank accounts or commercial activities in the Republic of Poland that would enable the donation of the monetary value of 680,595 euros.
In point no. 3 of the Albanian Prosecutor's letter of request, information is requested to be provided whether the Parish of the Holy Spirit of the Old Catholic Rite Church has declared to the Polish state institutions the donation of the monetary value of 680,595 euros to the Old Catholic delegation "Calatrava" in Lezha, Albania.
Point no. 4 requests information on what the legal procedure should be according to Polish state legislation for the donation of monetary values by the Parish of the Holy Spirit of the Old Catholic Rite Church.
Also, point no. 5 requests information on whether Jacek Roman Bogacz has been investigated or convicted of any criminal offense in the Republic of Poland.
Meanwhile, point no. 6 requires information to be provided on whether Lefter Nelaj has a residence permit in the state of Poland.
And in point no. 7 of the letter of request, information is requested as to whether Lefter Nelaj has ever entered the territory of the Republic of Poland. / Syri.net
