A serious incident has occurred in Greece where an Albanian worker has died after an accident at work.
According to Greek media, the 45-year-old Albanian, whose identity is still unknown, was doing some work the day before on the roof of a house in the Mytilene area when he fell, under still undetermined circumstances, from a great height to the ground and consequently lost his life.
The Albanian worked in a restaurant as a daily job, while he often worked a second job, like the one during which he lost his life, to supplement his income.
The Labor Center of the area where the accident occurred issued a statement condemning the accident and calling for a protest rally today, at 12:00 PM in Sappho Square.
In its statement, the Labor Center emphasizes that "low wages, punctuality in the schedule, and the high cost of living force thousands of workers to work second and third jobs."
