Three people arrested in Dubai are expected to be extradited to Tirana today, the State Police announced.
The extradition of citizens Maksim Koçi, Ado Xhika and Ervis Daka is suspected of being part of Talo Çela's gang.
Ervis Daka, 38, is accused of attempted murder and providing the conditions for murder in two serious assassination attempts against Kei Piku and Arjan Spahiu in 2020.
In the case of Piku, he was an informant on the movements, while in the case of Spahiu's murder in Belgium, he ensured the conditions for his elimination.
Daka is also accused of supporting the perpetrator of the crime after sheltering Talo Çela and providing him with the necessary living conditions. Maksim Koçi participated in the murder of two people, Klevis Kapllani and another, and provided the conditions for the murder of two others, including helping to hide Talo Çela.
The third, Ado Xhika, 40, is accused of supporting the perpetrator as part of the criminal group to eliminate Ardian Çapja, during the sniper attack, which he managed to survive. Xhika, for 2 years in a row, has helped Talo Çela hide, while in 2020 he accompanied a journalist with the aim of interviewing the wanted man.
Talo Çela, a well-known name in the criminal world, has been wanted for years, as one of the main crime bosses in Elbasan, with several arrest warrants. His name has been linked to several serious criminal events, on charges of the murder of brothers Besmir and Viktor Haxhia in Durrës and several other murders. Also for his involvement in the sensational robbery at Rinas airport in April 2019.

"As a result of continuous cooperation with partners in the United Arab Emirates, it is expected that today, the procedures for the extradition from Dubai to Albania of the highly sought-after citizens, members of criminal organizations, will be finalized:
A. Xh. alias AC alias EC, accused by the Criminal Court of Kosovo, that within the framework of a criminal organization, he supported a wanted citizen;
ED, accused by the Criminal Court of Kosovo, as a member of a criminal organization that planned murder and as a supporter of a wanted citizen;
"MK, accused by the Criminal Court of Kosovo, of murder and providing means to commit murder, committed within the framework of a criminal organization, as well as being a supporter of a highly wanted citizen," the State Police announced.
