
An Albanian has been arrested by Greek police at the Krystalopigi (Kapshtica) border crossing point after being declared wanted by Belgian authorities.
According to police, the 31-year-old arrested was accused of violating drug laws in the Belgian state.
"The 31-year-old was arrested by police officers of the Criminal Investigation and Prosecution Department of Florina in cooperation with police officers of the Passport Control Department of Krystalopigi of Florina, because a European Arrest Warrant was pending against him by the Belgian authorities, for violating drug laws. The arrested man will be brought before the Appeals Prosecutor of Western Macedonia in Greece," the police statement said.
