In the court session held this Friday, the Bushgjokaj brothers were sent to solitary confinement following the incident recorded in the courtroom on Monday.
During today's hearing, they claimed that they were provoked by Petrit Cakri, arguing that this was the cause of their reaction. Afterwards, the brothers apologized to the trial panel and the prosecution for the situation created.
In the same session, the Bushgjokajs also filed a request to change the security measure, but the court decided to dismiss it.
As a result, the security measure remained in force, while the isolation measure was also applied to them after the incident that occurred during the court process.
It is learned that the clash on June 15, 2026 began shortly after the hearing had begun. Kristi Bushgjoka stood up inside the glass cage and, after addressing the court with the words "With permission, judge?", attacked Petrit Hoxha, also known by the surname Çakri, with punches. Immediately after him, the brothers Fatjon and Aleksandër Bushgjokaj were also involved in the conflict.
Preliminary suspicions are that the Bushgjokaj brothers accused Petrit Çakrri of spying on them and making false statements to their detriment. During the incident, Çakrri is suspected of being punched and slammed against the wall of the glass cage.
The situation caused tension and chaos in the courtroom, forcing the immediate intervention of the Prison Police forces and court security staff. During the efforts to stop the conflict, three members of the prisoner escort platoon were reportedly injured.
The incident occurred during the trial of Fatjon Bushgjokaj and Petrit Çakrri, accused of the murder of 23-year-old Renis Dobra. Authorities are expected to document the incident and take appropriate measures against those involved in the fight.
The three brothers, Fation, Aleksandër, Kristi Bushgjokaj and Petrit Hoxha, are accused of the kidnapping and murder with a rope of Reni Dobra on July 8, 2025.
In collaboration with each other, they organized the kidnapping and murder of 23-year-old Dobra, whom they killed with a rope and threw along with his car on the edge of Lake Shkopet.
Renis Dobra was convicted in Germany for drug distribution, serving several months in prison, from where he was later deported to Tirana. The conflict with the 3 brothers and Petrit Çakrri is suspected to have arisen after Dobra attempted to deceive them several times about the quantities of narcotics, details that were apparently understood by the criminal group.
