Flodent Plaku, considered a paid killer and one of the suspects in the execution of Gentian Bejtja, an event that occurred in March 2024, was arrested in an operation by RENEA forces a day earlier in the Orikum area.
It took the police two months to discover the whereabouts of Palu, also known by the nickname "Pole Qorri", as there was information that he was hiding in Dubai and circulating between Greece and Italy, making detection difficult.
But it seems that the police have finally tracked him down, arresting him in one of the hotels.
A video released by the State Police shows the moments when RENEA troops surround the area and enter the hotel.
"Quick, guys, quick, guys," one of the operation leaders is heard communicating on the radio to the operatives who participated in the operation.
"Has anyone moved?" he asks, and the answer he gets is "so far, no one has moved back."
"Captured, captured," is the last sentence, announcing the capture of 'Pole Qorri'.
From the published footage, it appears that RENEA officers are equipped with automatic weapons and wearing bulletproof vests, which means that the dangerousness of the arrested person was extremely high.
