A serious incident occurred in Fushë-Milot, Kurbin, where an elderly man lost his life after being engulfed in flames in the yard of his apartment.
It is learned that the victim, 78-year-old Demer Haxhiu, was burning garbage in his garden, where the flames grew larger and engulfed the elderly man himself.
The latter could not be saved and unfortunately lost his life.
The Laçi fire services and the investigation team arrived at the scene, and are working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
