Bertil Alliaj, 32, was caught hiding in the mountainous area of Gjorm after killing his uncle's son, 36-year-old Dalan Alliaj. The latter had gone to visit his uncle's house in Gjorm, while the motive for the crime is still unknown.
Bertil Alliaj was captured 5 hours after the crime, while his location was discovered through drones. Considered a high-risk person, as he was sentenced to 35 years in prison in absentia for what is known as the Çole massacre where 3 people were killed in a casino in 2015, numerous police forces were involved in the operation to capture the 32-year-old, including the special forces of the Vlora local directorate.
The released video shows the moments of the arrest of Bertil Alliaj, who was also found with a pistol firearm, which he allegedly used to kill his uncle's son.
From the published footage, Bertil Alliaj appears without handcuffs, surrounded by a large police force, while two officers hold him by the arms.
