The serious incident in Gjorm, Selenica, where a 36-year-old man was shot dead, is taking a different turn. It is suspected that the author of Dalan Alliaj's murder is his uncle's son.
The 36-year-old had gone to visit his uncle and it is suspected that after a clash with his uncle's son, Bertil Alliaj, the latter pulled out a pistol and shot him with at least 6 bullets.
" Following the preliminary information provided earlier, the first investigative actions made it possible to identify the suspected perpetrator of the incident, citizen BA, who is suspected of having shot and killed his cousin, citizen DA, in the village of Gjorm. After committing the crime, citizen BA fled to the surrounding mountainous area, where he is suspected of hiding.
"The structures of the Vlora Local Police Directorate are continuing their intensive work to locate and capture the suspected perpetrator, while under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, investigative actions continue for the full documentation of the event ," the police announced.
Bertil Alliaj is a well-known name, as he is accused of being involved in the Çole Massacre in 2015 where 3 people were killed. The police are currently pursuing him. He is suspected of having fled to the mountainous areas of the village. 5 people have also been escorted to the police station. Among them is the village headman.
As for the Çole massacre, it took place in 2015, where 3 people were killed after a fight in a casino. The victims were 29-year-old Akil Hasanaj (previous name Haki Rakipi), 27-year-old Ardi Velaj (previous name Ferdian Velaj), and 21-year-old Albi Limaj.
The investigations conducted revealed that at around 4:00 in the morning, Xhuliano Lutaj was in the company of his friend, Albi Limaj, in a casino near the port of the city of Vlora when he clashed with Akil Hasanaj and Ardi Velaj.
It is learned that the latter, armed with firearms, insulted and raped Lutaj.
Outraged, the 21-year-old told Limaj about the violence inflicted on him while he was away from the casino. Limaj then sought the help of Aleksandër Llanaj to avenge his friend.
On Tuesday afternoon, citizens Aleksandër Llanaj, Albi Limaj, Ani Begaj, who was driving the "BMW X5" vehicle with license plates AA 323 AO, and Bertil Alliaj went near the "Adore" bar to meet and clarify with Hasanaj and Velaj.
Albi Limaj and Aleksandër Llanaj got out of the "BMW" car, who had just met with Akil Hasanaj and Ardi Velaj, and started the conflict, which escalated to the use of firearms.
As a result of the exchange of fire, 29-year-old Hasanaj, Velaj and Limaj were killed, and Aleksandër Llanaj was seriously injured, who was transported to the Vlora hospital where he is under medical care.
Meanwhile, Bertil Alliaj got out of the car during the exchange of fire and left the scene.
